This is the exact moment of moonrise behind the Aiguille d'Argentière and Aiguille du Chardonnet (Mont Blanc massif), as seen at sunset from the Lac des Cheserys, Aiguilles Rouges, Argentiere, France.

The mountain was still cherished by the last rays of the setting sun, the play of light, shadows and shapes, caught my attention and my feelings.

Magical...
Craters of the Moon and mountains of the Earth looking at each other.

The light, contrasts and mood are exceptional.
I think Ansel Adams would have been very happy to see this delightful work.
