Click here to buy a print of this photoThe day was beginning to fade away, I was on the summit of mount Civrari (Susa Valley, Italy) and after a few moments of contemplation I took this shot.
This mountain is not particularly high (2.302 m / 7.552 ft), nevertheless you can enjoy an incredible view over numerous valleys. Especially on evenings like this one!
Obviously I consider mist as an added value, a great friend, in fact on a normal sunny day the view from this summit is always spectacular, but not so rich of mystery and mystical tones.
The highest pyramid-shaped mountain at the horizon is the well known Monviso, the symbol of Cottian Alps.
People often tell you that "you have been lucky" in taking a particular shot. Oh well, I've climbed this mountain about twenty times, that was my "luck"

so much love, dedication, physical and mental efforts... and only at the twentieth time I have seen and documented this landscape.
